"We are selling it and you are taking it". The movie aired its main promo saying this. But the movie ends up in more than selling and taking. The movie has enough material in it to make you think beyond sheer selling. The concept overtakes the old methods of selling and let you know how it works today.

The movie starts with Harpreet Singh Bedi (Ranbir kapoor) getting just over passing marks and having a celebration for his graduation. He has already made up his mind to go into "AS- A-AL- E- AS"-SALES. Soon he get his first job in a computer selling company AYS. He gets a very rude immediate boss Nitin who is a smart salesman as well who knows how to settle things right. But soon Harpreet Singh finds himself accused for his innocence and becomes a centre of ridicule in the office. Here comes the twist in the tale, when he decides to start his own company while working in the current company.

The movie has got everything, from story to performances, from sense of humor to sense of responsibility. D Santosh delivers his best performance with so many crispy one liners from time to time. Manish Chaudhary proves unmatchable as Puri. Gauhar khan also makes a point here. Shamit Amin and Jaideep Shani give collaborative evidence that their previous hit "Chak De" was not a fluke.


Ranbir could not be the "salesman of the year" but he may become "The Actor of the year" if keeps on pouring in such performances with such brilliant films. Don't let the best performance of the year…unwatched...Go and get your seats booked.
